Q:
I've read several TIDs and followed the instructions, but I am still not seeing the [This] object in my tree, nor is it listed as a trustee for any property.
We want to enable password changes via LDAP queries with rights that
automatically apply to new user accounts when they are added. I am using
eDirectory 8.7.3.4 in a mixed NetWare 6.5 and NetWare 6 environment with ConsoleOne.
A:
The [This] and [Self] objects can only be assigned via LDAP or iManager (which uses LDAP as its back-end).
