Is there a way for NSure to capture the workstation name for a login event?
A:
The agents developed by Novell are designed to be high traffic agents, with the ability to log 1000's of events a second in large environments. This means that they focus on logging basic information rather than acquiring more advanced information. To get a workstation name, the agent would have to do a DNS lookup on the address. For many environments that are just using WINS for name resolution, this would not return anything and just delay the agent.
