Logins are being recorded all day with all useful information, but the corresponding logout does not tell you which object has logged out. The 'Originator' column that provides the user ID when a login is reported, just contains ".[PUBLIC].". Is there a way to make it tell you who has just logged out?

A:
The login [Public] originator value is a known issue - see TID 10095524. The problem should be fixed in the naudit102nwp2 patch (TID 2970230). Many of my logout records show an IP address in the value1 field that matches an IP address reported during a user login.

You can also try updating to Audit 1.0.3. It is bundled in NW65SP3 or available stand-alone from http://download.novell.com.
