I'm implementing an ID Vault that synchronizes users and groups with another eDirectory and an AD domain. ID's currently exist in both the external NDS and AD systems, but not in the identity vault.
Should I populate the VAULT tree with users from the external NDS (migrate from) tree first, and then migrate from the VAULT tree to the AD Domain? Or should I migrate into the Vault from AD first?

I built mine from the existing eDir tree, then used it to build the MAD domain.
When I started, there were almost no users in the MAD domain, so it was like
building a brand new one. Basically I just poured users (about 80K of them)
across the DirXML link from the eDir ID Vault tree in to the domain.
