We're currently paging ourselves by using our pager's e-mail address, with
the SMTP channel. But the process takes a long time (over 15 minutes).
We would like for it to be direct. Are there other channels available, such as SNMP TRAP or a Pager type, so we can page directly to the pager instead of sending an e-mail?
A:
With the SNMP channel, once licensed, it's possible to forward the variable information to a host server. From there, the trap information, can be forwarded to a service that can be paged directly via a modem.
