I installed NBM 3.7 fp4e, and now the server abends loading FiltSrv.
A:
Usually that means there is something corrupted in NDS. When I see a filtsrv abend, I make sure I have a good filters.cfg file (hope you have a backup!). Then I delete the filtering objects in NDS and then remigrate the filters back into NDS with a filtsrv migrate procedure.
Occasionally I've had to go so far as to delete the NBMRuleContainer object also, and recreate that with a SCHEXT <admin> <password> procedure, followed by the filtsrv migrate.
