Q:
I get this error while running the NBM VPN 3.8 client: "A version mismatch exists between NICI and vptunnel. Kernel NICI was not found. Please check for available and valid NICI driver."

A:
I would uninstall both the VPN client and the existing NICI versions on the PC, reboot, and then reinstall the VPN client. (It will reinstall the proper NICI version).
