By default, we synchronize user records between eDirectory and AD by the "FullName" attribute. How can we create a matching rule to synchronize user records from eDirectory by the "CN" attribute and "UserPrincipalname" attribute from AD?

What you probably want to do is use the schema map, in oder to map CN (eDir) to Display Name (MAD). If I recall correctly, the default configuration of the MAD driver should take care of userPrincipalName for you.
