Our two eDirectory 8.7.3 systems are connected with IDM2 and eDir connectors. The driver and configuration are working OK, except when creating new users (or doing a migration) the passwords are not synced.
When using an admin utility (NWAdmin32, ConsoleOne, iManager) for password change AFTER the object is sync'd by IDM, the password is changed. Why isn't the password synchronized initially?

One of the publisher channel command transformation policies on the
default eDirectory driver configuration has a rule that adds a default
password on creation. Disable it - it isn't needed when synchronizing
the key pair, and it causes a problem like what you are describing.
