Is there a way to only audit what a few users do in eDirectory? For example, we want to be able to log everything that User1, User2, User3, and User4 do in Edir.
A:
Unfortunately, NSure Audit is an all or nothing prospect on logging a given type of event. However, here is what you can do: 1) Set a short expiration on the default channel, 2) Build a second channel to store what you want to keep, and 3) Build a notification filter to send your desired results to the second channel.
One caveat: every time you change the notification filter, you must restart lengine for it to read the new configuration.
