What are the eDirectory attributes that cause the password to be set to expire when an administrator changes the user's password?
A:
This isn't an attribute, it's actually a feature. If a password is overridden externally with a new one (i.e., password reset, not a user-initiated password change), then the RSA keypair is regenerated, and the password is set to expiration 1 Jan 1992. This forces the user to change it on the next login. This is true for any password reset.
