We have enabled access rules, and Auth on our NBM server. However, the logs for the users are not in an easy-to-use format. Are there any third party tools that can be used to make recording and reporting user access on the Internet easier?
A:
Using Access-rule logging is not the best way to report user activity. In my experience, it is only useful to enable such logging on "deny" rules so you can track where users *tried* to go but didn't. To find out where users *did* go, enable proxy logging. This writes out the logs to the file system in either the COMMON or EXTENDED formats that any decent log analyzer can then absorb and create fancy reports on.
