I have downloaded and installed EDIR8737.EXE released as
public patch on 09-23-2005. But now you can find it with date
12-23-2005 on:
http://support.novell.com/filefinder/19452/index.html
What is the difference between the two?

Only the readme has changed. The following text has been added to the
readme:
"NOTE: There is an issue with the Linux script if options 1 and 2 were not
selected during the initial installation of eDirectory 8.7.3. This may result
in NDSD not starting after applying this update. Please see TID 10099900 for more information and how to resolve the issue."
