Showing ZENworks objects in ConsoleOne

Novell Cool Solutions: Question & Answer

Q:
I have an OU that appears to be empty (using both NWAdmin and C1) but can't be deleted because it allegedly contains objects. I went into DSBrowse, looking at all three replicas, and the OU appears to indeed contain seven ZEN policy objects. All three replicas consistently showed the policy objects as "Present." I was about to delete them through DSBrowse but then launched iManager (2.5) and the seven objects appeared! I deleted them and then deleted the parent OU without incident.

A:
ZENworks policy objects are invisible by default in ConsoleOne if their corresponding policy package is lost. Start ConsoleOne with the command line option -showHiddenObjects, and the objects should become visible.
