Q:
How do I map NetWare drives while running SUSE Linux?
A:
Linux doesn't use the familiar drive letter method to "name" drives. Instead, Linux uses mountpoints. This mountpoint is displayed as a directory in the linux filesystem. For example, /mnt/server1/sys might point to the sys volume on a server and /mnt/server1/apps to the apps volume. With this format, Linux doesn't care what type of connection you have; NFS, IPX/SPX, CIFS, and even local hardware appear to be local to the user. However, if you just want a "driver letter" you can create a mountpoint at /f and mount the volume there.

- It doesnt tell you how to map/mount a Netware drive. It doesnt tell me how to do it.
- No detail.
- Additional mount devices are needed for this. Information as to where to get these would be nice.
