What's the best way for me to install Red Carpet? It sounds like a very cool product.
A:
The easiest way to install Red Carpet is to install Ximian Desktop. If you don't have Ximian Desktop, and would like to install it, go to the Novell Linux Desktop download page.
If you already have Ximian Desktop, you can update to the latest version of Red Carpet by selecting System->Get Software or opening a terminal and typing red-carpet at the command line. Once Red Carpet opens, select any Red Carpet updates that appear and run them. The next time you open Red Carpet, you will be running the newest version. Sweet, huh?
