Novell Cool Solutions: Question & Answer

Posted: 13 Aug 2004

Q:
I'm using Evolution 1.4.6-2 on Fedora Core 2, and Ximian-Connector 1.4.7 . When I attempt to check my e-mail, I fill in all the information. It asks me for my password, and then says "No mailbox for user <my.username> on mailserver.domain.com. I've looked at the FAQ and searched the web for any answers, but came up empty handed. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'd like to get this working and show upper management how they can begin getting away from Microsoft licensing!

A:
You may be using the wrong mailboxname. To check, log into OWA and then open an email (in a new window). Right click the window and look at the properties. Your mailbox name is what follows after "exchange".
