Q:
We're running GroupWise 6.0 here at my office. I am one of the few people using Linux rather than Windows. I normally POP my email down off the mail server. However, for as long as I have been using Evolution (currently using a Fedora Core 1 box running Evolution 1.4), Evolution has never been able to remove the email off the server, even though I specify this in my setting. It removes email off my Sendmail server just fine.

In order to remove email, I have to usually use IMAP and delete each message manually. Or I have to use the web interface and check each message for deletion.

Is there any easy way to have Evolution delete the mail off the server?

A:
Configure GWIA to either delete or purge messages after POP download, or you can add a :d or :p after your login ID in Evolution (for example, kerry:d). This will tell GWIA to delete messages after you download them.
