Q:
I'm running the latest development snaps from the Ximian RCS on NLD 9 one of the last RC's.

When I go into the calendar to create an appointment, regardless of which calendar I use (my "local/personal" calendar or the "Groupwise" calendar), I get an "Unknown error" dialog.? And that's it.? Nothing more, nothing less and the appt. does not save.

I can accept appointments sent to me via GroupWise but I cannot create new ones.... When I run Evolution from the terminal, this is what I get when I click on the Calendar button:

(evolution-2.2:16657): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1579 (g_object_unref): assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (evolution-2.2:16657): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1579 (g_object_unref): assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (evolution-2.2:16657): calendar-gui-CRITICAL **: file comp-editor.c: line 764 (comp_editor_remove_page): assertion `page != NULL' failed (evolution-2.2:16657): calendar-gui-CRITICAL **: file comp-editor.c: line 764 (comp_editor_remove_page): assertion `page != NULL' failed (evolution-2.2:16657): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1579 (g_object_unref): assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (evolution-2.2:16657): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1579 (g_object_unref): assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

Anyone have any answers to this one?

A:
It seems as if your calendar was set to UTC....? If you change it to your local timezone (e.g. New York/Eastern time), it should be fine.
