Hey, what's up with this? We installed an iChain 2.1 evaluation license and it expired after just a few hours.
A:
Verify that the DOS clock is correct prior to installation and that there are no directory service errors, no timesync errors or that synthetic time is being issued.
If the problem persists after verifying the above, then it is a known issue that is under investigation. Contact Novell Technical Support for a dubug version of ACLCHECK.NLM to troubleshoot the problem. It's currently looking like some kind of BIOS or timing issue.
Workaround: Purchase a one-user license following the instructions at http://www.novell.com/documentation/ichain21/ starting on page 20.
