If you are using the RADIUS profile for Token authentication this is because the RADIUS reply does not contain the DN of the user. For third-party RADIUS servers you can set the searchbase on the iChain box as if you are pointing directly to the RSA Ace Server.
If you are using eDirectory and NMAS then follow the instructions in the Admin Guide. If you do everything that is detailed, you should be okay. The Dial Access Profile object should contain the eDirectory FDN attribute configured, and the user object or the Container should have the right profile object configured.
