Is this possible?

A:
Absolutely YES! One of the engineers has done this very thing, and this is how he did it:

In his Netscape 4.6 configuration he has Netscape installed to the default location (C:\Program Files\Netscape).

In the C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\MGBrooks folder is a text file called prefs.js

In that file is a line that reads:

user_pref("browser.startup.homepage", "http://www.novell.com/");

You could easily create a text file change setting in an application object to search for www.netscape.com and replace it with www.novell.com or something like that. You'd also mark that text file change as 'No reboot needed if modified'. That way you won't be prompted to reboot if a text file change is made.

Enjoy!
