Q:
When trying to edit my XP group policy I receive the following error:

"The Group Policy that you are attempting to edit is currently being edited by another user. Please try again later."

I was in this policy earlier this morning when my PC froze, I recovered but cannot get back into the policy editor. I have reset the server and even created a new folder for a new policy and I still receive the same error. All servers are in sync and I have run ConsoleOne from both my desktop and server, and have verified that no one else has the file open. Any ideas?

A:
Look for folder C:winnt\system32\gpInUse on the workstation you are running ConsoleOne on. If it's there, rename it.
