I can remote control machines with password-based remote control. Where isthe policy stored on the machine that prompts for permission to remotecontrol? The only way I can get the prompt for permission to work is if theylog into the eDirectory tree once. Is this in a config file or in the registry?

It is the RmCfg.Ini in \ProgramFiles\Novell\Zenworks\RemoteManagement\RMAgent and should be pretty self-explanatory.
