We've discovered that sometimes ZENworks Group Policies don't apply if you login too fast. Why does that happen, and is there a fix in the works?
A:
Windows starts up services in alphabetical order. Therefore the ZENworks.... ones are started last. If you boot up and login too quick the workstation manager service is not loaded yet and therefore you don't get policies applied.
Be a little more patient, and it will work fine. Just wait a few more seconds to login.
This has been reported to Novell Engineering, so perhaps a fix will be forthcoming sometime.
