Silent install is TOO silent

Q:
Silent install is TOO silent -- users cannot tell when the app is finished installing. I have found a few related posts, but no free solutions to thisproblem. I am installing GroupWise client 6.5.2 through ZENworks401bNAL window by running setup.exe /s and applying my settings from thesetup.iss file I created. I want to inform the user that anupgrade to their Groupwise client is taking place, so DON'T OPEN ITuntil you get a message that says it's complete, or something likethat.

Does anyone know a few quick commands to put in the launch scriptbefore and after that might help with this? Maybe just a pop-upbefore and after?

I've also tried a bunch of switches with setup.exe like /sms and thisdoes seem to keep the setup.exe wrapper open while the install takesplace. This would be helpful for the launch scripts, if I could onlyfigure out the best way to make a FREE (I checked outVisualDialogScript - nice - not free) little pop-up dialog box.

A:
Try this cool free tool. You could call box.exe from a distribution script.
