Offending Drivers:
LaserJet 5si - The original 5si driver crashes every time. Use the 5si PCL5e and it works fine.
LaserJet 4000 - Forget about PCL 5. It crashes every time for all variations of 4000 family printers. Get up to PCL 6 and everything works.
DeskJets 1220C - The current driver from HP's web site is fine.
DeskJet 660C and 690C - The default drivers crash every time. I'm still trying to figure out how to update the drivers because HP only supplies a setup program rather than a list of files with an INF file.
Anyway, if it saves someone the hassles that we went through then some good has come of it.
