How do you move a server from one tree to another without merging the trees?
A:
The only way to move a server to a new tree without merging trees is to uninstall Directory Services and then reinstall the server into the destination tree. Note: If an In-Place upgrade is also to be done, first install the server into either a temporary tree or the destination tree before attempting the In-Place upgrade
