It does NOT show in DNS/DHCP console as the incorrect spelling, because I changed it there.

Interesting problem! We can think of two things to check:

  • 1) Is the host name spelled correctly in sys:/etc/hosts file? If it is not, edit, and reboot the server.
  • 2) If that is not the problem, then search (either with "grep", or in Windows, map a drive and right cliick in Windows Explorer and search) all files in the SYS volume looking for the incorrect name.
