Is the connection from the Secure Logging Server (SLS) to the Oracle database encrypted? My understanding is that Oracle requires the "Oracle Advanced Security" settings for an encrypted connection. Will SLS work with the Oracle Advanced Security?
A:
The Oracle database storage log driver uses API calls to the database client machine. If the database client is configured to communicate with the database server over a secure channel, SLS will work with Oracle Advanced Security.
