I get the error: "System cannot find the file specified" in the event log and event viewer, and eDirectory won't start.
A:
Novell Audit installs files and services that reference NAUDITDS.DLM. NAUDITDS.DLM is incorrectly copied to the Windows server as AUDITDS.DLM. So the application fails when it tries to execute NAUDITDS.DLM. Because of dependencies, eDirectory will not start if NAUDITDS.DLM cannot execute.
To fix this problem, rename C:\novell\AUDITDS.DLM file to c:\novell\NAUDITDS.DLM. Reboot server, and eDirectory will start. You can change the startup value of the NAUDITDS.DLM to "automatic" to get it to start at server boot.
