Is there a way I can disable proxy for FTP and still use the FTP protocol through Border Manager? Can the ftp-port-pasv-st can be used for FTP over SSL too?
A:
Very few people use the FTP proxy to start with. Most either just use FTP via HTTP (in a browser), or bypass the proxy with an ftp-port-pasv-st filter exception. I would try the www-https-st filter exception for SSL traffic.
