We've had a problem with our BorderManager server for several weeks. In the console proxy, Connections in use = 2000 and 8000, and the server loses connection and needs rebooting. Normally, the connections in use: max 300. We aren't using packet filtering.
A:
Not having packet filtering is already a problem, because it allows anyone from the Internet to use your proxy as a relay. You should consider at least enabling proxy authentication, if not packet filtering.
