After upgrading NBM 3.7 to SP 3 and NetWare 6 to SP5, I now get the 403 error ("You are not logged in ..."). A few PCs can get on to the Internet; most cannot. We're running XP Pro, some with Client 4.9, some with 4.9.1, and some with 4.9 SP2. There is no real pattern of what works and what doesn't. Most do not access the internet with proxy numbers in. I tried upgrading older clients to newest client; I ran dwntrust then clntrust ; I changed SSO settings ...

Make sure you've disabled the Personal Firewall connection in Windows XP. The Windows firewall always blocks CLNTRUST connections.

- You can normally re-enable the WinXP firewall if you add exceptions to the XP firewall for CLNTRST.EXE and allow UDP Port 3024.
- Similar experience. Problem turned out to be oddly Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition and having an email intergration setting. Check out TID 10095452.
