When a user logs into the self-service portal, they do NOT get prompted to answer the challenge questions that have been configured in the password policy. If the "Answer Challenge Questions" link is clicked on, the following error appears on the page:
Error: Task could not be completed.
Challenge Questions unavailable; no Password Policy assigned.
I've not been able to have any success with this particular deployment. Any ideas? I'm using eDirectory 8.7.3.2 on Windows 2000 and NT4, and Identity Manager 2 (engine update applied).
A:
Go into the NPS PortalServlet.properties file (located in my SUSE installation on :/var/opt/novell/tomcat4/webapps/nps/WEB-INF/PortalServlet.properties) and add the following line:
LDAPSSLPort=[your LDAP SSL Port number]
Then restart your Tomcat and Apache servers.
