Q:
I want to dump about two weeks worth of events that are queued up on my IDM2 server so they don't populate into AD. I had the driver stopped during that time, but it is trying to process all those updates now. I know there is a way to do it that involves deleting a stream file somewhere I believe.

You have to find the TAO file for this driver, stop the driver, replace it with the "empty" TAO file, then start the driver. See TID 10094630 for details.
Or, you could disable the driver, and then when you re-enable it make sure to check the check box that says to not perform the resync. You could also stop the driver and then use dxcmd to remove the events while it is stopped.
