Q:
RT asked: I work with an application which connects to a database. I already have created a script that responds to the login window and fills in username and password. The user only has to choose which database to connect to. But some databases have different usernames and passwords than others. Is there a way to configure SecureLogin so that it can enter different login data for the same application with the same script?
A:
RT, the simple answer is yes, however you need to understand how to direct NSL to tell the difference between the DATABASES. Is there something on the screen which is different or is the command line different? Either of these can be scripted.
Once you identify which route you need to take you can either read the screen to determine the app or you can use the GetCommandLine command to see which database you are going to use. It is also worth using SetPlat for each of the different databases so you can manage the ID's more easily.
