Snapins Detecting NSL

Novell Cool Solutions: Question & Answer

Posted: 29 Jul 2004

Q:
How does the SecureLogin snapin for ConsoleOne detect if SecureLogin is running or not on the client when it tries to load?

A:
The NSL snapins rely on the broker being loaded on the workstation. If the broker is not loaded a call from the snapins fails and the user is advised that NSL should be running before starting ConsoleOne.
