Here's where we keep the free stuff. We've collected quite an array of goodies that you can take home and keep, and we hope to collect more. Hint, hint... Maybe there's no such thing as a free lunch, but there are occasional snacks. Like these free tools, for example, which have been sent to Novell by developers inside and outside Novell who just want to share. (A few of them are evaluation copies, and you'll need to pay for the full program if you decide you like it. But you are free to use anything you can download from here.) The utility provides two functions, to remind and assist users in archiving their mail based on predefined thresholds and to maintain multiple archive directories based on calendar year. In this way archive directories do not become unmanageable, and older archives directories can be groomed to tape or other more economical storage. File Size: 1k Date: 22Feb2000 When using GroupWise 5.5, which is included with Novell Small Business Suite 5 (NSBS5), you also have the ability to manage POP3 accounts with the aid of the POP Forwarding Agent (PFA). PFA was installed by default when you installed NSBS5. It allows you to use dynamic IP addressing from an ISP to receive e-mail from the Internet. Depending on your configuration, this agent can collect e-mail for one organization from a POP3 mailbox or specific user POP3 mailboxes and forward the e-mail to the local GroupWise users' mailboxes. This download file contains files necessary to update all previous versions of the POP-Forwarding Agent (PFA) to the Global Release 6 level. PFA G6 fixes some mail delivery bugs in PFA_G5 and earlier. PFA_G5 updates PFA_G4 with additional documentation in this Readme file and includes a revised NWCONFIG install script. PFA_G5 fixes several issues found in previous shipping versions of the PFA. Specifically, this file resolves the problem where messages from a domain POP3 mailbox piled up in the SYS:\MAIL\GWDOM\PFA directory rather than being forwarded from the server to local users on the network. Survey Generator is a scripting application to create and host Web-based surveys. It collects several specifications from the user and creates a survey in the form of ASP scripts and a corresponding table in the Oracle database. Results are provided in tabular and graphical format. All the specifications obtained from the user are stored in an INI file that can be easily edited outside the application. The INI file and the ASP scripts are copied into a directory created for the particular survey. Access rights for this directory need to be provided by the NDS administrator; so, a mail is shot off to the administrator by the application. Since scripts are used, the user can further customize the survey by tweaking them. For more information, see this article.

[Note from a user of this tool: I've found that this works well - better in certain circumstances than the delay.nlm built into NetWare5. Among other things, it gives you the colon prompt back while it's waiting. It looks like source code to the nlm is included in the zip.]
