Problem:
With Citrix Presentation Server 3, WebInterface, and iChain 2.3, no Connection could be established. The ICA File from Citrix Server could only be used from Citrix Client Version 7, no newer version.
Solution:
With Presentation Server 3 and WebInterface, the ICA File that would be generated with the default settings is wrong. Here are the changes that need to be made:
- The Proxy Settings must be on "client", otherwise in the ICA file there would be a "Proxytype=auto" and the session would not successfully connect. (With older Nfuse Versions you have to edit the nfuse.conf and remark the "ClientProxy="
- With Presentation Server 3 the Session Relibility has to be disabled, because Citrix would otherwise try to open Port 2598, which is usually not open on the Firewall (hopefully). http://www.thinstructor.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=3881
