Changing Header Appearances
Day after day you see the same thing: the boring, grey GroupWise window. It's enough to make you not want to read your e-mails. Luckily, you can spice up your GroupWise window's appearance with just a few clicks. Who knows, it might just spice up other aspects of your life, as well.
Follow the steps below to change the appearance of your main GroupWise window:
- Right-click the header display above your folder list or mailbox.
- Click Header Color and select a color.
- Click OK.
- Click Header Text Color and select a text color.
- Click OK.
- Click Header Font Size and select a font size.
- Now, each time you log-in, the header window will reflect your choices.
- Click Reset to Default to go back to the default header appearance setting.
To truly customize your GroupWise window's appearance, you can choose to hide the toolbars and make the Header display the main part of your window. To do this, right-click on your main toolbar and select Hide Toolbar. To show the toolbar again, select View|Toolbars|Main.
When you change your header appearance, not only will your main mailbox headers be changed, your headers for all your folders and messages will change.
Feel free to customize your GroupWise window on a daily basis to show your mood or to reflect the seasons. Your happy GroupWise window just might stop passers-by as they see your screen. Be ready to refer them to this tip so they can customize their headers too.
