Nigel Griffiths of pSeries Technical Support at IBM has posted quite an extensive article on virtualization. It is entitled "POWER5 Virtualisation: How to set up the SUSE Linux Virtual I/O Server."

Excerpt:

"Virtualisation is a hot topic, and the computing industry has varying views on recommendations for different technologies and solutions, development, and use. Through examples that apply equally to both pSeries, p5, and eServer OpenPower systems, this article shows how to set up and use the SUSE Virtual I/O Server (VIO Server). The SUSE Linux VIO Server is an alternative to the VIO Server software offered by IBM."
