Note: This bug has been reported to engineering, and a fix will probably be forthcoming soon. Meanwhile, here's a workaround.
PROBLEM: HP DC 7100 reboots straight after login, once ZFD4agent.msi has been installed. (Windows XP)
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.
The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0xbf9df1dd, 0xaa7cc19c, 0x00000000).
The remote management agent overwrites settings of the Intel graphics driver.
Solution
To start the solution you have to boot in safe-mode.
- Go into System, Hardware, Device Manager, and uninstall the Intel Graphics driver.
- Reboot the PC.
- After the PC has been rebooted the Intel drivers install automatically again.
The other option is to not install the remote management agent.
Both options work; I've tested it a couple of times.
