Novell has started work on a contract with the National Health Service (NHS) of the U.K. The contract is for somewhere in the neighborhood of $38.6 Million. This amounts to a fraction of what Novell will save the NHS in the long run. The NHS will be using SUSE Linux Enterprise Server.

"Open-source software vendor Novell has started work with the U.K. National Health Service (NHS) on a £21.8 million ($38.6 million), three-year contract to improve its IT systems, a spokeswoman for the health agency said Friday."
