Problem

We needed a quick way to get information out of BorderManager log files. For example, w needed to know all entries for a particular user for the last month.

Solution

I used Wingrep software from www.wingrep.com to scan Bordermanager log files. Wingrep allows you to scan all log files very quickly. I use it to search for all entries for a particular user. Can save all entries to a separate file.

Note: This solution was tested on Windows 98/2000/XP systems.
