PROBLEM:
To load a web page from a NetWare server you have to first run startx to bring up the GUI and then click on one of the existing weblinks in the menu. Then you can type the URL of the site you want to load.
SOLUTION:
Instead of doing all that clicking, simply type "viewport" at the server console prompt followed by the URL that you want loaded.
For example:
viewport http://www.novell.com
This is actually an NCF file that loads the proper java routines to launch the web browser on the server and is located in the sys:\java\bin directory.
ENVIRONMENT:
NetWare 6. May also work in previous versions as well.
