Posting Sticky Notes in SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10

One of the best reminder tools ever created was a little sticky note. Sticky notes are persistent little flags that remind you what you need to to or contain important information you need at your fingertips. Electronic sticky notes, like the Tomboy Notes that come installed in SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10, serve the same function, just electronically. Here's how to use them.

To create a new sticky note:

  1. Click the sticky note icon in the lower left-hand corner of your desktop next to the Computer button.
  2. Select Create a New Note.
  3. Select the note's title and begin typing to replace the existing text with your own note title.
  4. Select the note's description text and begin typing to replace the existing text with your own note description.
  5. Close the note by clicking the X in the upper right-hand corner of the note screen. This will save your note.

To view your note:

  1. Click the sticky note icon in the lower left-hand corner of your desktop next to the Computer button.
  2. Select your note title from the list of notes that appears.

    OR
