The problem:
Heads up from support. We've had a few reports of customers having problems with their NSS (Novell Storage Solution) partitions after an in-place upgrade to NetWare 6.0. The partition may be visible, however customers can not do a ZLSS upgrade or activate pools and volumes.
The solution:
To avoid this problem in your shop, run NSSCHECK.EXE on your NetWare 5.x servers prior to the upgrade to validate/repair the MAL (Media Access Layer) information.
