Problem

A Forum reader recently asked:

"I have a user on the Mobile Server 2 system. He can download emails, but contacts and tasks always fail. He is using a Palm Treo 650. I have looked everywhere on the admin console to find the setting to allow contacts and tasks to be downloaded ..."

And here's the response from Joe Marton ...

Solution

1. In the Admin Console, go to Profile Settings > Email Accelerator > PIM > Default. That's where you enable the syncing of calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes.

2. Make sure that your Sync/SyncXpress settings are the same. I believe with the default sync settings it's only SyncXpress that is for OTA (wireless) syncing, but I like to make them both the same to be safe.

3. After enabling contacts sync, make sure the user logs into the WebPIM and selects "with addressbook(s)" to sync.
