Cool reader Tommy Mikkelsen has written a slick tool that makes setting up workstations to automatically login (to the network and to themselves) a snap.

After going through numerous TIDs that describe the procedure -- which is different for several of the Novell Client versions -- and figuring out which one was right for his users, he started thinking there must be a better way. Then, after manually editing the registry keys on each of the workstations that they wanted to autologin, he rolled up his sleeves and started to code.

The result of his efforts is a free tool that -- when launched on a workstation -- reads the existing registry entries, pops up a form so you can fill in the missing pieces, and asks if you want to Enable AutoLogin or Disable AutoLogin.
